The consortium consists of a mixture of SMEs, international and national organisations, industry and research and education institutes. The PRACTICE project has 23 partners from 11 different countries and is coordinated by the CBRNe Center at Umeå University.

OSMOSIS is a web portal that offers to all the organizations operating in the Security sector support in being involved in RTD projects at European level, through networking and partnering opportunities, as well as getting useful information and tools to enhance the active participation in research programmes. The SecureCHAINS project is funded by the European Commission and actively involve researchers, SMEs, government institutions, major companies and big industrial enteprises to look at technologies capable of tackling a number of major topics in the field of security in Europe, such as: Security of citizens and Security of infrastructures and utilities -Intelligent surveillance and border security -Restoring security and safety in case of crisis.
The project has duration of 24 months and is implemented by consortium from 9 EU member states lead by Inova+ of Portugal with proven experience in the field, as the consortium includes partners organisations that come from large companies, leading research institutes and experienced SME and business support organisations, who all already have the experience of working together. With this project it will be possible to get a clear picture of the technological capabilities in Europe regarding in particular the SMEs potential to deliver the most advanced technologies to the integrated projects.
