2nd Stakeholder Workshop, 24-25 April 2014, Pionki, Poland

 

Warsaw’s Provincial Headquarter of State Fire Service Training Centre, Pionki, Poland

 

The PRACTICE Consortium  invites:

  • emergency services and crisis management centres,
  • first  responders,
  • providers of technological solutions,
  • policy makers and
  • government officials

to join the second PRACTICE Stakeholder Workshop, which will take place on 24–25 April 2014 on the premises of the Warsaw’s Provincial Headquarter of State Fire Service Training Centre in Pionki (near Radom) in Poland. The workshop is a two-day event combining participation in the PRACTICE Full Scale Field Exercise and the game session with the use of the PRACTICE Toolbox. This game session will focus on the usefulness of the Toolbox for integrated response to CBRN threats.

During the first day of the event you will have the opportunity to observe full scale civil protection field exercise, organised as a major part of the National Crisis Response Training with participation of approximately 500 representatives of real users – a number of Polish crisis response teams (State Fire Service, crisis management authorities, CBRN agencies and teams and many more). This exercise will focus on training integrated response with use of modern technologies in face of CBRN threats.

A number of bursaries is available to assist with travel costs. The whole event will take place at the Warsaw’s Provincial Headquarter of State Fire Service Training Centre in Pionki at 1 Zakladowa St., Poland.

Fly to Warsaw Chopin Airport. Transfer to and from Pionki will be arranged (ca. 2h ground transport). Accommodation is available on site. More detailed travel information will be provided upon registration (register-practice.astripolska.com.pl).REGISTER by 4 April 2014!!!
